Anti-Scam Carnival
Dr. Yu and UCESR Foundation Support the Anti-Scam Carnival
The "Anti-Scam Carnival" was held on December 14 and 15 at the West Kowloon Cultural District, aiming to raise public awareness about scam prevention, anti-money laundering, and cybersecurity threats. Among the key supporters of the event, the UCESR Foundation played a crucial role as a major sponsor.
Dr. Yu, founder of the UCESR Foundation, emphasized that combating scams is closely tied to promoting social responsibility and requires the collective efforts of the government, businesses, and the public. The foundation has been dedicated to raising awareness of important social issues and has collaborated with the police and other organizations to provide resources and education to help the community tackle scams and other risks.
During the event, Dr. Yu, along with other distinguished guests, officiated at the opening ceremony and shared insights on the importance of scam prevention. The foundation also hosted a booth to provide practical anti-scam information and encouraged the public to download relevant applications to enhance their awareness.
